Standard and requirements for dry sealing test of automotive radiator

4 performance requirements

The sealing performance test of 4,1 is carried out according to the 5.1 rule. No bubbles can be seen when wet inspection. The leakage value is not greater than the user specified value when dry inspection.

4,2 low temperature tightness test shall be carried out according to 5.2 regulations, and no leakage can be observed after testing.

4,3 static pressure performance test is carried out according to 5.3 regulations. No permanent deformation is observed after testing and 1% of the width of the core.

4.4 the vacuum test is carried out according to the 5.4 regulations and 5 after the test. No leakage and permanent deformation can be detected in the L regulations.

5 test method

The pressure in this method is relative pressure.

Test on the sealing performance of 5.1 at room temperature

The detection methods of sealing performance at room temperature are divided into wet and dry tests.

Wet inspection: on the wet seal test table, the radiator inside the sink is compressed air to the sink inside the sink, the commercial car radiator is compressed air with 150kPa, the passenger car radiator passes the 180kPa air, and the pressure holding time is 30s.

Dry inspection: on the dry type sealing test stand, the air inside the radiator is compressed by 15OkP a, and the holding time is 60s. According to the formula (1), the amount of leakage is changed.
