Emerson acquisition of British Groveley testing

Emerson process management acquired Groveley testing, the developer of ultrasonic gas leak detection solutions for offshore and terrestrial oil and gas facilities, and the Groveley test was based in the UK.

Groveley will join Emerson's Rosemount Analytical business unit to expand Emerson's security monitoring portfolio. With the completion of the acquisition, Emerson has joined the Groveley's ultrasonic gas leak detection technology to complement the network security fixed gas detection and flame detection product lines, which greatly strengthens its status in the global security monitoring market. In addition to several industrial plant settings, Groveley products are widely used in energy mining and processing applications.
